Decorated Clothes Pins

December 3, 2011

I wanted to show this easy way to make cute clothes pins. I made these for the advent tea wreath, but it would also be nice to have a few decorated pins to pin Christmas cards on a ribbon or to close goodie bags with!

My clothes pins needed numbers to count down the days, so I used scrapbook stickers for that.

One of the packages of tea from the tea swap came wrapped in really cute tissue paper, so I used that. Patterned tissue paper gives a really nice look, but any type of pretty paper would work.

Simply cut the paper in small pieces and Mod Podge them to the clothes pins. After waiting a couple of minutes for them to dry, trim the edges with scissors and apply another layer of Mod Podge for a protective layer.

Use to pin up pretty things!

I hope you are having a lovely weekend and have some fun things planned! We will be celebrating my husband’s 33th birthday tomorrow with a pot of chili and good company!
