Color My World // Week 3: Paint
Welcome to week 3 of the Color My World challenge! This week, we used paint to add our chosen color to our home. Inspired by my inspiration photos from Week 1, I loved the idea of a yellow chair and decided to paint an extra chair we already had.
I am loving the bit of sunshine it adds to this corner and it stands at the ready in case extra seating is required at the dining table.
Here it is in its sad “before” state. It was passed on to us by a family with kids and we never bothered removing the stickers they put on it.
And here it is now! Much happier!
Also, something arrived in the mail that I had been waiting for, a set of postcards with images from Paris with a yellow theme from Little Brown Pen. I attached them to the wall with washi tape and I just sort of wanted them dotted across the wall to add a bit more interest and color.
I really really love the postcards! They are so beautiful and I love how they elevate the ordinary into something extraordinary. And they feature color! Against a backdrop of Paris! By the way, the Etsy shop where I got them Little Brown Pen just changed its name to The Paris Print Shop and has a 25% off sale until April 22 to celebrate – just in case you’re interested. We own one of their 10×8 prints too and love it.
